Another distinctive attraction is the Bund in Shanghai, which is the mile long scenic area along the Huangpu River and very popular amongst the locals. The Terra Cotta Warriors from the 3rd century BC are also worth visiting in the city of Xi’an.

Spain

Spain is another obvious choice for a holiday, as the country is known to be the second most popular tourist destination in the world. The top destinations in this country along the Mediterranean Sea are Madrid, the capital and the largest city, with many art museums, the Royal Palace, home of the King of Spain and several prominent Catholic churches and Barcelona, also rich in museums, art galleries, churches and magnificent beach resorts as well as the trendy Spanish Riviera.

Italy

Italy is famous for the Roman Colosseum and Vatican City, with its very famous Sistine Chapel and the Pieta inside Saint Peter’s Basilica, in addition to the gondolas of Venice and the Leaning Tower of Pisa, just a few minutes away from the historical city of Florence. Other notable sites in Rome that shouldn’t be missed are the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon. Italy is also known for its fine dining and excellent wines, clothing and fashion and just any other major European city, professional sports.
