Around large sporting events (i.e. Hong Kong Sevens). Or there has been a place before that i have really enjoyed.
- Who is the most memorable person you met in a hostel and why?
A Dutch guy who has been travelling for 5 years straight and has seemed to meet everyone and seen everything. Some of the Sweedish girls are also amazing.
- Why do you stay in hostels, as opposed to other types of accommodation?
Cheap and cheerful.
- What is the biggest myth people have about hostels and hosteling?
That they are dirty and run down: this is not the case as most are kept very clean and are a pleasure to stay in.
- Why do you like to travel?
Meet people, see new things, good weather, the beaches.
- What is your advice for other travelers wanting to stay in hostels?
Just do it, you will enjoy it; everyone is normally very friendly.
