Being newly licensed, we’ve conformed to the much more stringent new EU regulations for fire, safety and hygiene. For budget accommodation, the Athens Backpackers probably has the highest standards in Athens.
Guide books, travel books, maps and historical information are expensive and heavy to carry. We’ve collected a library of stuff you can borrow at no cost. We’ll give you FREE Athens maps, site maps, bus and train maps as well as lots of island brochures. There is a quiet room set aside for reading and studying.
