Mamacitas Guest House Book your bed
Mamacitas is a guesthouse, restaurant, bar and gift shop located on the island of Culebra in the Caribbean. If you're looking for a great place to eat, stay, or just meet others, Mamacitas is a must for your list of places to visit. Our warm, friendly staff is ready to welcome you to a year round warm, friendly place with lots of great people.
Culebra, the location of Mamacitas, is a beautiful island in the Caribbean almost exactly between the "big" island of Puerto Rico and St. Thomas of the U.S. Virgin Islands. The island is approximately 7 miles by 4 miles and has been noted as the best little secret in the Caribbean. Sometimes referred to as one of the Spanish Virgin Islands (along with its sister island, Vieques), Culebra has some of the most beautiful, unpopulated, secluded, environmentally protected beaches in the world. Many of which have coral reefs stemming from shore. Activities on Culebra include, but are not limited to, snorkelling, swimming, deep sea fishing, sailing, diving, sea kayaking, biking, shopping, or just hanging out on a beach and getting away from it all.
In addition, our local ferry and airline system gives you the ability to take day trips to the Virgin Islands, Fajardo, Puerto Rico and the metropolis of San Juan. All these locations are reachable by plane in under 30 minutes.
To plan trips, the island of Culebra is accessible year round via local airlines, ferries, sailboats, and charter boats. Also, during season, barefoot cruises visit Culebra.
Mamacitas itself is situated on the canal of Laguna Lobinas in the main town of Culebra. Once on, or around Culebra, Mamacitas is accessible via boat, car, bike, or foot.
