G'day Backpackers offers quality accommodation for both the budget and upmarket traveller. The hostel is beautifully restored with twin and dormitory rooms.
We are located just a few minutes from the central train and bus stations and around 10 minutes to the heart of the city, the Botanical Gardens, the Opera House, Darling Harbour and Chinatown. Sydney’s main shopping centre is just a brisk walk away and we are also within walking distance of the Sydney Football Stadium, Cricket Ground, Centennial Park and the new Fox Studios.
We offer to our guests pay phones, daily cleaning service in the rooms, TV and fridges in all rooms, relaxing courtyard and barbeque facilities, job board (employment agencies taken), friendly and helpful staff and lots more. For your security the hostel has surveillance cameras in operation 24 hours a day. Even though we have security, it is recommended that guests not leave their valuables or cash in their rooms. Valuables may be stored in the hostel safes.
The hostel is not responsible for theft or lost of guest property or any injuries caused to guests or friends of guest. All guests are advised to take out their own personal and travel insurance.
We are open for check-in from 7:30am-11pm and checkout time is 9am on the day of departure.
Terms and conditions:
Prices are subject to change from time to time without notice prior to bookings being accepted.
Bookings are transferable with sufficient notice (10 days or more).
All guests must observe the rules and regulations of our hostel.
Reservation Procedures:
The balance is payable on arrival in full.
In the event that the Australian Government enacts a goods and services tax (GST) or any other new taxes you will be notified and asked to pay at the appropriate time.
Cancellations Fees:
All cancellations have to be in writing and faxed back to us. You must have the confirmation letter back from us in writing to confirm cancellation or you will be charge in full.
Any cancellation made before stay commencement will result in the forfeiture of 20% of the total deposit.
Any cancellation made within a week of stay commencement will result in the forfeiture of 20% of the total amount payable.

No exceptions will be made!
