Saga International Youth Hostel 'Accommodation in the Heart of downtown Beijing'.

Located in the Heart of Beijing central business district within walking distance to Beijing Central Railway Station and Tian'anmen Square. It takes you 10 minutes to walk to our hostel from the airport shuttle bus terminal of Beijing International Hotel.
Beijing Saga International Youth Hostel offers clean, quiet and affordable accommodation to suit every traveller. All at competitive prices. With IYHF memebership card, you can take a 10% discount on room rate.

For the Backpacker, Beijing Saga International Youth Hostel has comfortable twin rooms and dorms each with own or shared shower, hand basin and air conditioning.
Budget twin rooms have all the above amenities plus shared colored TV, refrigerator and tea/coffee making facilities in the communal area. Bed linen is included in all room rates.
CHECK-IN PROCEDURE
We have a standard and efficient check-in procedure for both International and Chinese guests, it is as follows:
Regulations in China require all hostel guests to show appropriate I. D. For International travelers a passport is acceptable, while for students studying in China, a passport or green resident card is acceptable.
Please note that your passport must contain a current visa stamp in order for it to be accepted.
All hotels in China require a deposit at the time of check in amounting to (100 RMB), this is to ensure we keep up-to-date with arrivals and departures. Your deposit will be refunded upon returning your room card when you are ready to checkout. Please retain the receipt issued at the time of payment so that you may be refunded when you checkout, without any complications or delays. For security and your own convenience reasons keys are not issued, instead we have 24 hour security that only allow entry into your room when you display your room card.
Finally, we ask that you pay for your room in advance. You can pay one day at a time, or if you know how long you will be staying and want to save the daily inconvenience, payment can be made for as many days in advance as you wish. Every time you pay for the room or bed at reception, you will be given a receipt, you must retain this as proof of payment.

CHECKOUT PROCEDURE
Our check-out times are standard and flexible they are as follows:
We ask that our guests check- out before 12:00 noon. If you wish to extend your stay, please inform reception staff before this time.
Checkout after 12:00 noon but before 18:00 will require payment amounting to 50% of the daily room rate. Check- out after 18:00 will incur full payment for the room for that night.
Present your room card at checkout, then following a room check your full deposit (100 RMB) will be refunded.
TELEPHONE AND FAX SERVICES
Fax and telephone services are available from the Tourist Information desk, located in the hostel lobby. For international calls you should buy an IP card from the service desk. We also allow local (within the Beijing area code) calls to be made at the desk for free.
FAX: You may send and receive faxes at the Tourist Information desk. If you wish to receive a fax ensure that the sending party includes your name and room number clearly at the top of the first page.
INTERPRETER SERVICE
For help with any further problems you may encounter our hostel provides a tourist hotline that has an interpreter service available.
FOREIGN EXCHANGE
A 24-hour exchange service is available at the front desk of Beijing International Hotel lobby. Cash is available at the CITI Bank ATM machine in Chang'an Grand Theater, this is conveniently situated east side of the Beijing International Hotel.
You can also take a taxi if you just show the hostel name to the taxi driver.
The hostel is just a 600 meters walk north from the Central Railway Station.
From Beijing West Railway Station, take Bus 721 or 122 to the last Stop Beijing Central Station.
Relax after a days sightseeing in the Beer Garden on the roof of our hostel with a nice view of the traditional Chinese courtyard and hutongs (alleyways).

Beijing Saga International Youth Hostel is just a short stroll to the many shops, restaurants, major take-away outlets, galleries and nightlife. A 24-hour supermarket is situated 200 meters away.

So if you are looking for clean accommodation with happy staff in a quiet location of local neighborhood that is close to just about everything, then Beijing Saga International Youth Hostel is the perfect choice when staying in Beijing.
